Multiple Emroch & Kilduff Attorneys Named to 2025 Virginia Super Lawyers Top Lists

Richmond, Virginia – Emroch & Kilduff, PLLC is proud to share that several of its attorneys have earned top recognition on the 2025 Virginia Super Lawyers lists, solidifying the firm’s long-standing reputation for excellence in personal injury, medical malpractice, and healthcare law.

William Kilduff, a founding partner and seasoned trial lawyer, has been named to both the Top 100 and Top 50: Richmond Super Lawyers lists this year. With more than 37 years of experience, Kilduff is known for securing numerous multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements in cases involving serious injury and wrongful death. Since joining the firm in 1979, he’s become a trusted name across Virginia, not only in the courtroom but also as a lecturer, mediator, and arbitrator.

“When I started, it was easier to stand out,” said Kilduff. “Now it’s a much more crowded field. If you want to compete with the larger firms in Richmond, you’ve got to keep raising the bar.”

Kilduff is joined by several colleagues who were also recognized among the best in their fields:

• Chris Spinelli was named to the Top 50 for Medical Malpractice, a reflection of his strong results and deep experience representing patients in complex cases.
• Phillip Marstiller earned a spot in the Top 50 for Personal Injury – General, highlighting his ability to deliver for clients in tough personal injury cases consistently.
• Ed McNelis was named to the Top 50 for Health Law, recognizing his work in healthcare-related litigation and support for medical professionals navigating legal challenges.
• Harrison “Whit” Long, one of the firm’s rising stars, was honored in the Top 50 for Personal Injury – General: Rising Stars, an impressive achievement that speaks to his sharp instincts and dedication to clients early in his career.

Super Lawyers selects attorneys through a process that includes peer nominations, research, and independent review by fellow lawyers. Fewer than 5% of Virginia attorneys make the list, and even fewer are chosen for Top 50 spots.
