Prestigious award recognizes innovation, impact, and excellence in mental health technology
Brightline, the leading pediatric mental health solution supporting kids, teens, and their parents, today announced it has been named the “Best Overall Mental Health Solution Provider” in the 2025 MedTech Breakthrough Awards. The MedTech Breakthrough Awards are among the industry’s most competitive, highlighting companies that drive meaningful progress in medical technology, including past winners Teladoc Health, Medtronic, and Phillips.
Selected from more than 4,500 nominations globally, Brightline was recognized for its impact in pediatric and family mental health, including for its innovative work in California through BrightLife Kids. In its second year of a historic partnership with the California Department of Health Care Services and CALHope, BrightLife Kids offers free behavioral health tools and coaching to all families with children under 13, regardless of income, insurance, or immigration status throughout the state.
The award comes during a banner year for Brightline, which has been delivering accessible, evidence-based mental healthcare virtually for the past six years. Brightline recently announced the launch of its flagship clinic in Brooklyn, opening a hybrid path for children to receive flexible, family-centered healthcare wherever they are – in person, virtually, or both. Brightline CEO and Co-Founder Naomi Allen was also recently named to the Inc. 2025 Female Founders list, which honors a bold group of 500 women whose innovations and ideas are leading their industries forward.
“This recognition from MedTech Breakthrough affirms our commitment to closing gaps in mental health care through technology that is clinically validated, scalable, and family centered,” said Brightline CEO and Co-Founder Naomi Allen. “We’re honored that the award recognizes our groundbreaking work in California, reaching underserved communities who have historically faced disproportionate barriers to affordable and accessible mental health care.”
